簡単な方法

WPは投稿編集画面だけでなく、ダッシュボードウィジェットやAjax応答などでも投稿数を参照しないため、Artemのソリューションの方が優れているようです。

1. デフォルトの投稿数キャッシュをクリアします。
   理由：wp_count_posts結果が以前にキャッシュされている場合、キャッシュされた投稿数を以前に返します。
