AWSに既存のEBSをマウントできません

既存のEBSストレージ（データがある）をインスタンスにマウントしようとしましたが、このエラーがスローされ続けます。

mount: wrong fs type, bad option, bad superblock on /dev/xvdf,
       missing codepage or helper program, or other error

       In some cases useful info is found in syslog - try
       dmesg | tail or so.

ストレージの詳細は次のとおりです。

そのブロックデバイスをパーティション分割したようです。このケースでは、マウントする必要がある/dev/xvdf1だけではなく/dev/xvdf。
